Make.Shift is a non-profit arts space located in the heart of Bellingham’s arts district supporting artists and bands by providing 21 studios, an award-winning gallery, a live music performance space and a low-power radio station KZAX Radio. It is an all-ages space dedicated to a policy of no drugs, no jerks, no booze. KZAX 94.9 LP FM is a freeform, nonprofit community radio station and a program of Make.Shift Art Space. KZAX's goal is to serve the Bellingham community and beyond by focusing on broadcasting content from local programmers and independent music from the Pacific Northwest and West Coast.
