Here's a list of things volunteers can do. I can't pay you and I feel really bad asking for help! Things I can offer in trade: Some period of free advertising on the site, various zines, stickers, pins etc from my shop (craftordiy.art), drawings/design work, custom 1" buttons, maybe a gig in my town, consulting on small biz operations/shipping stuff/event organizing. At any given moment, I have an enourmous list of places I wanna reach out to but haven't yet. Your job would be to email or DM places, give them a little spiel about what DoDIY is (I can provide a blurb) and ask if they'd like to be added to the site. If they're interested, you can then link them to the submission form at http://dodiy.org/submit
Your duties would include:

Do you feel pretty in the DIY loop in your area? Wanna keep an eye on your state's page and let me know when listed spaces shut down and new DIY spots pop up? That's all this one entails!

★ Tell me when DIY spots in your area shut down or new ones open up

Do you have an excess of time on your hands for some reason? Do you wanna get intimately aquainted with dodiy.org? This job is for you.
Your duties would include:
★ Going through the site to check for broken links & defunct venues (this includes doing some light googling to make sure places are actually defunct vs the link is just dead).
★ Sending me a list of what you find (city, state, name of space).
